Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is turned off.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for safety.
2. Check and Replace Fog Light Bulbs
  • Tools Required: Screwdriver set, safety gloves
  • Remove the fog light assembly by unscrewing the mounting screws.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the fog light.
  • Remove the old bulb by twisting it counterclockwise and pulling it out.
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket and twist it clockwise to secure.
  • Reconnect the wiring harness and reinstall the fog light assembly.
3. Inspect and Replace Fog Light Fuse
  • Tools Required: Multimeter or fuse puller
  • Locate the fog light fuse in the vehicle's fuse box (refer to the owner's manual).
  • Remove the fuse and inspect it visually or test it with a multimeter to confirm it’s blown.
  • If the fuse is blown, replace it with one of the same amperage rating (refer to the owner's manual for specifications).
4. Test Fog Light Relay
  • Tools Required: None
  • Locate the fog light relay in the fuse box.
  • Remove the relay and inspect for any signs of damage.
  • If necessary, swap the relay with another relay of the same type in the fuse box to test functionality.
  • Reinstall the original relay if it appears functional or replace it if it is defective.
