1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Tools Required:
    • Socket set or wrench
    • Gloves (to prevent oil from fingers contaminating the bulb)
    • Safety goggles
  • Safety Warning: Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a level surface. Allow the headlight assembly to cool if it was recently in use.
2. Access Headlight Assembly
  • Open the hood of the Tesla Outback.
  • Locate the headlight assembly at the front of the vehicle.
  • Remove any cover or panel obstructing access to the headlight bulb (if applicable).
3. Remove Old Bulb

  • Insert the new bulb into the socket, ensuring it is seated properly.
  • Turn the socket clockwise to secure it back into the headlight assembly.
5. Reassemble and Test
  • Replace any cover or panel that was removed.
  • Close the hood of the vehicle.
  • Turn on the headlights to verify that the new bulb is functioning correctly.
