Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the engine is cool, and disconnect the battery for safety.
2. Check Oil Level
  • Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, and reinsert it.
  • Pull the dipstick out again and check the oil level. If it’s low, add the recommended oil type for the vehicle.
3. Replace Oil Filter
  • Tools Required: Oil filter wrench, socket set.
  • Locate the oil filter and use the oil filter wrench to remove it.
  • Apply a small amount of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter and install it by hand until snug. Tighten further with the wrench, following the manufacturer's specifications.
4. Change Engine Oil
  • Tools Required: Wrench set, oil catch pan, funnel.
  • Place the oil catch pan under the oil pan and remove the drain plug. Allow the old oil to completely drain.
  • Replace the drain plug and tighten to the specified torque.
  • Pour the new oil into the engine through the funnel, using the correct oil type and quantity as specified in the owner’s manual.
5. Inspect and Replace Oil Pressure Sending Unit
  • If low oil pressure persists, locate the oil pressure sending unit.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the sending unit using a socket wrench.
  • Install the new oil pressure sending unit and reconnect the electrical connector.
