Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
2. Clean Throttle Body
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body.
  • Reinstall the air intake duct securely.
3. Inspect and Replace Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
  • Remove the screws securing the accelerator pedal to the floor.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the accelerator pedal position sensor.
  • Install the new accelerator pedal position sensor, reconnect the wiring harness, and secure the pedal back in place.
4. Check and Replace Fuel Filter (if necessary)
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay and starting the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel filter.
  • Remove the old fuel filter and install the new one, ensuring correct orientation.
  • Reconnect the fuel lines and reinstall the fuel pump relay.
5. Transmission Fluid Check
  • With the engine running, check the transmission fluid dipstick.
  • If low or dirty, drain and replace with the manufacturer's recommended transmission fluid.
  • Recheck the fluid level after replacing.
