Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the battery's negative terminal to prevent electrical shorts.
• Allow the engine to cool down before starting work.

2. Inspect and Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the intake duct connected to the throttle body.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the throttle plate and surrounding areas.
• Reinstall the intake duct securely.

3. Check and Replace Spark Plugs

• Remove the ignition coil cover using a socket set.
• Disconnect the ignition coils and remove them.
• Unscrew the old spark plugs using a spark plug socket.
• Install new spark plugs with a torque specification of 15 ft-lbs (20 Nm).
• Reinstall ignition coils and cover.

4. Examine Fuel System

• Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail.
• Turn the ignition to the "on" position without starting the engine, and check the fuel pressure against manufacturer specifications.
• If pressure is low, inspect the fuel pump and filter for blockages or failures.

5. Test MAF and Oxygen Sensors

• Disconnect the MAF sensor and visually inspect for dirt or damage.
