Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the vehicle battery to ensure safety.
• Allow the engine to cool down before starting work.

2. Recharge the AC System

• Tools Required: Manifold gauge set, refrigerant (R134a or R1234yf depending on the model), vacuum pump.
• Attach the manifold gauge set to the AC service ports.
• Check the low and high-pressure readings to assess the refrigerant level.
• If low, connect the refrigerant can to the low-pressure side and slowly add refrigerant to the system while monitoring the pressure gauges.
• Once the desired pressure is reached, disconnect the refrigerant can and close the service ports.

3. Replace Faulty Components

• Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, screwdrivers.
• If the AC compressor is not engaging, inspect and replace the compressor if necessary:
