my Skoda Octavia NFL (2020-Present) stalls when stopping what could be the cause

1. Preparation

• Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface, and the engine is cool.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.

2. Clean the Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the throttle plate and surrounding areas.
• Reinstall the air intake duct securely.

3. Inspect and Clean the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC)

• Locate the IAC valve, usually mounted on the throttle body.
• Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the valve from its housing.
• Clean the IAC valve with a suitable cleaner and reinstall it.

4. Test and Replace the Fuel Filter (if necessary)
