1. Preparation

• Gather tools and materials: OBD-II scanner, socket set, multimeter, cleaning supplies, new spark plugs (if needed), throttle body cleaner, and safety goggles.
• Disconnect the vehicle battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.

2. Address Error Codes

• Use the OBD-II scanner to note any error codes related to the engine performance.
• Clear the codes after repairs are made to reset the check engine light.

3. Inspect and Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body using a socket set.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the throttle body. Ensure the valve moves freely.
• Reinstall the air intake duct securely.

4. Check and Replace Spark Plugs

• Remove the ignition coil cover using the socket set.
• Disconnect the ignition coils and remove the old spark plugs using a spark plug socket.
• Inspect the old spark plugs for wear; replace them with new ones if necessary.
• Reinstall the ignition coils and cover.
