1. Preparation

• Take out the old air filter and clean the housing with a damp cloth.
• Insert the new air filter and reassemble the housing.

3. Check and Replace Spark Plugs

• Remove the ignition coil or distributor cap depending on the engine configuration.
• Use a spark plug socket to remove each spark plug.
• Inspect the old plugs for wear; replace them if necessary using the manufacturer’s specifications for gap size.
• Reinstall the ignition coils or distributor cap.
