my Skoda Octavia NFL (2020-Present) air conditioning is not blowing cold air, why?

Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather tools and safety equipment before starting the repair.
• Tools Required: OBD-II scanner, manifold gauge set, multimeter, basic hand tools.
• Safety Warnings: Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a level surface. Disconnect the battery before working on electrical components.

2. Check and Recharge Refrigerant

• Connect the manifold gauge set to the A/C service ports.
• Check the low and high-pressure readings against the manufacturer's specifications.
• If low on refrigerant, proceed to recharge:
  • Attach the refrigerant canister to the low-pressure port.
  • Open the canister valve and allow refrigerant to flow until adequate levels are reached.
  • Monitor the pressure gauges to avoid overcharging.

3. Replace A/C Compressor (if necessary)

• If the compressor is faulty, follow these steps:
  • Remove drive belts by loosening tensioner and sliding belts off.
  • Disconnect electrical connectors and refrigerant lines from the compressor.
  • Unbolt and remove the compressor from its mounting.
  • Install the new compressor in reverse order:
