Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather all necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and securely parked.
• Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts.

2. Clean the Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body using a socket set.
• Clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to remove carbon buildup.
• Reinstall the air intake duct and reconnect the battery.

3. Replace Fuel Filter

• Locate the fuel filter (may be built into the fuel pump on some models).
• Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
• Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using a fuel line removal tool.
• Install the new fuel filter, ensuring proper orientation and tight connections.

4. Replace Spark Plugs

• Remove the ignition coil cover if applicable.
• Disconnect the ignition coils from the spark plugs and remove them using a socket wrench.
• Replace old spark plugs with new ones, ensuring the correct gap is set (refer to manufacturer specifications).
• Reinstall the ignition coils and cover.
