Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety.

2. Clean or Replace Throttle Body

• Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, socket set, screwdriver
• Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the throttle plate and surrounding area.
• Ensure the throttle plate moves freely; reassemble the air intake duct.

3. Inspect and Test Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

• Tools Required: Multimeter
• Locate the accelerator pedal position sensor and disconnect the wiring harness.
• Using a multimeter, check the voltage output of the sensor while slowly pressing the accelerator pedal.
