Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool.
• Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shock.

2. Clean the Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body (use a socket set).
• Spray throttle body cleaner onto a clean rag and wipe the throttle plate and inside the throttle body.
• Reattach the intake duct securely.

3. Replace the Fuel Filter

• Locate the fuel filter (consult the service manual for specific location).
• Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
• Disconnect the fuel lines using appropriate line wrenches.
• Remove the old fuel filter and install a new one, ensuring correct orientation.
• Reconnect the fuel lines and fuse, then prime the fuel system.

4. Inspect and Replace Air Filter

• Open the air filter housing (usually secured with clips or screws).
• Remove the old air filter and inspect for damage or dirt.
• Install a new air filter, ensuring it fits snugly in the housing.
• Secure the air filter housing back in place.
