Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety.
  • Allow the engine to cool down before starting work.
2. Clean the Throttle Body
  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft brush to clean the inside of the throttle body.
  • Ensure the throttle plate moves freely and is not sticking.
  • Reattach the air intake duct securely.
3. Check and Replace the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
  • Locate the accelerator pedal assembly and disconnect the electrical connector.
  • Remove the securing bolts and take out the old sensor.
  • Install the new accelerator pedal position sensor and torque the bolts to the manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector.
4. Inspect and Clean the MAF Sensor
  • Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  • Remove the sensor from the air intake tube.
  • Use MAF sensor cleaner to spray the sensor and allow it to dry.
  • Reinstall the MAF sensor and reconnect the electrical connector.
5. Check Fuel Pressure
  • Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail test port.
  • Turn the ignition to the "ON" position (do not start) and check the fuel pressure reading against manufacturer specifications.
  • If pressure is low, inspect the fuel pump and filter for issues, replacing as necessary.
