Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Use a jack to lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
2. Inspect and Tighten Suspension Components
  • Check all bolts:
    • Use a socket set to check and tighten all suspension-related bolts (control arms, shock absorber mounts, etc.) to manufacturer specifications.
3. Replace Damaged Components
  • Sway Bar Links and Bushings:

    • Remove the sway bar link bolts using a wrench and ratchet.
    • Replace with new sway bar links and bushings as necessary.
    • Torque bolts to manufacturer specifications.
  • Control Arm Bushings:

    • Remove the control arm from the vehicle.
    • Replace bushings if they are cracked or damaged.
    • Reassemble the control arm and torque all bolts to specification.
4. Shock Absorber Replacement (if necessary)
  • Remove the old shock absorbers:

    • Unbolt the top and bottom mounts using a socket set.
    • Pull the shock absorber out of its mounting location.
  • Install new shock absorbers:

    • Position the new shock absorber in place and secure it with bolts.
    • Torque bolts to the manufacturer's specifications.
5. Reassemble and Lower the Vehicle
  • Reinstall any components removed during the inspection and repair.
  • Lower the vehicle carefully, remove the jack stands, and recheck all fasteners.
