1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, safety glasses, gloves.
  • Safety Warnings: Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a level surface. Disconnect the battery if necessary to prevent any electrical issues.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the cabin air filter access panel, typically located behind the glove box.
  • Open the glove box and remove any contents to allow for full access.
  • Use the flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the stops on both sides of the glove box.
  • Allow the glove box to swing down completely to access the filter compartment.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the cabin air filter housing cover, usually held in place by clips or screws.

  • Carefully pull out the old cabin air filter from its housing. Note the orientation of the filter for proper installation of the new one.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
  • Take the new cabin air filter and align it according to the airflow direction indicated on the filter (usually marked with an arrow).
  • Insert the new filter into the housing carefully, ensuring it fits snugly.
  • Reattach the cabin air filter housing cover and secure it with clips or screws.
5. Reassemble the Glove Box
