Solution
1. Preparation

  • Locate the brake fluid reservoir.
  • If fluid is low, top off with the manufacturer-recommended brake fluid (DOT 3 or DOT 4).
  • Inspect the reservoir cap for proper sealing.
3. Inspect and Repair Leaks
  • Tools Required: Wrench set, brake line flare tool
  • Inspect brake lines, hoses, and connections for leaks.
  • If a leak is found, tighten connections or replace damaged lines/hose.
  • For pinhole leaks, use a brake line flaring tool to create a new section if needed.
4. Bleed the Brake System
  • Tools Required: Brake bleeder kit, clear tubing
  • Start with the wheel farthest from the master cylinder (usually the right rear).
