2. Oil Change (if necessary)

• Drain the engine oil:
  • Place a drain pan under the oil pan.
  • Remove the oil drain plug using a socket wrench.
  • Allow oil to fully drain out.
• Replace the oil filter:
  • Use an oil filter wrench to remove the old oil filter.
  • Lubricate the rubber gasket on the new filter with clean oil.
  • Install the new filter and tighten by hand.
• Refill with new engine oil:
  • Install the drain plug and tighten to manufacturer specifications (typically around 25 Nm).
  • Use the recommended oil type (check owner's manual) and pour it into the engine via the oil filler cap.

3. Inspect and Replace Components

• If noise is coming from the timing chain/belt:
  • Remove any covers obstructing access.
