Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety during repairs.
2. Inspect and Clean the Throttle Body
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, screwdriver set, cleaning cloths
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner into the throttle body while opening the throttle plate manually.
  • Wipe clean the inside surfaces using a cleaning cloth.
  • Reattach the air intake duct securely.
3. Check and Test the MAF Sensor
  • Tools Required: Multimeter, socket set
  • Locate the MAF sensor in the air intake system.
  • Disconnect the MAF sensor connector and use a multimeter to check voltage output following manufacturer specifications.
  • If out of specification, replace the MAF sensor with a new one.
4. Inspect the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
  • Tools Required: Multimeter, socket set
  • Remove the accelerator pedal assembly to access the APP sensor.
  • Use a multimeter to test the APP sensor according to the service manual specifications.
  • Replace the APP sensor if readings are outside of acceptable limits.
5. Transmission Fluid Inspection
  • Tools Required: Transmission fluid dipstick (if applicable), funnel, transmission fluid (OEM specified type)
  • Check the transmission fluid level using the dipstick; add fluid if low.
  • If fluid is discolored or smells burnt, replace the transmission fluid and filter.
