Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Small flathead screwdriver, new CR2032 battery (or appropriate battery for the key fob).
  • Safety Warning: Ensure the vehicle is turned off before working on the key fob.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Open the Key Fob:
    • Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob along the seam.
    • Take care not to damage the casing.
  2. Remove Old Battery:
    • Take note of the battery orientation (positive side facing up).
    • Remove the old battery.
  3. Install New Battery:
    • Insert the new battery in the same orientation as the old one.
  4. Reassemble Key Fob:
    • Snap the fob halves back together until fully closed.
