Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: jack, jack stands, lug wrench, socket set, torque wrench, brake cleaner, and safety glasses.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Raise the Vehicle
  • Loosen the lug nuts slightly while the vehicle is still on the ground.
  • Use a jack to lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
3. Inspect and Replace Brake Pads
  • Remove the brake caliper by loosening the bolts with a socket wrench.

  • Slide the caliper off the rotor and support it with a wire hanger (do not let it hang by the brake line).
