Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: flathead screwdriver (optional for battery access) and a working key fob.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a well-ventilated area, and all doors are closed.
2. Resetting the Key Fob
  1. Enter the Vehicle

    • Sit inside the Honda Pilot with all doors closed.
  2. Turn the Ignition On

    • Insert the key into the ignition.
    • Turn the key to the "On" position (do not start the engine) and leave it there for about 10 seconds.
  3. Press the Key Fob Buttons

    • While the ignition is in the "On" position, press and hold the "Lock" button on the key fob for about 1 second.
    • Release the "Lock" button, then press it again three times in quick succession.
