Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • Allow the engine to cool for at least 30 minutes to avoid burns.
2. Locate the Coolant Reservoir
  • Open the hood using the release latch inside the vehicle.
  • Secure the hood with the prop rod.
  • Locate the coolant reservoir on the passenger side, typically near the front of the engine bay.
3. Check Coolant Level
  • Visually inspect the coolant level through the translucent reservoir.
  • Ensure the level is between the "MIN" and "MAX" lines marked on the side of the reservoir.
4. Add Coolant if Necessary
  • If the coolant level is below the "MIN" mark, remove the cap by twisting it counterclockwise while pressing down.
  • Use a funnel to pour in the appropriate type of coolant (usually a 50/50 mix of Honda Genuine Antifreeze/Coolant and distilled water).
  • Fill until the coolant reaches the "MAX" line.
  • Replace the cap securely by twisting it clockwise.
5. Inspect for Leaks or Damage
  • After adding coolant, visually inspect hoses and the radiator for any signs of leaks.
  • Ensure that all connections are tight and that there are no visible cracks in the reservoir.
