Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and ensure the vehicle is parked safely.
  • Make sure the vehicle is turned off before proceeding.
2. Check and Replace Fuse
  • Tools Required: Fuse puller or needle-nose pliers
  • Locate the fuse box (typically under the dashboard or in the engine compartment).
  • Identify the fuse for the infotainment system using the fuse diagram.
  • Pull the fuse out and inspect it for damage. If blown, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage rating.
3. Perform a Soft Reset
  • Tools Required: None
  • Turn on the vehicle.
  • Press and hold the power button on the infotainment screen for approximately 10 seconds.
  • Release the button and wait for the system to restart.
4. Disconnect and Reconnect Battery
  • Tools Required: Wrench or socket set
  • Turn off the vehicle and remove the key from the ignition.
  • Open the hood and locate the battery.
  • Use a wrench to disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal.
  • Wait for about 5-10 minutes to allow the system to reset.
  • Reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal.
  • Close the hood and start the vehicle.
