Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Gloves (to prevent oil from skin contacting the bulb)
    • Screwdriver (flathead or Phillips depending on the type of screws)
    • Clean cloth or paper towel
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the keys are removed from the ignition.
    • Allow the headlights to cool down to avoid burns.
2. Access the Headlight Assembly
  1. Open the hood of the Honda Pilot.
  2. Locate the headlight assembly at the front of the vehicle.
  3. Remove the plastic cover or screws securing the headlight assembly if necessary (may vary by model; consult the owner's manual if unsure).
3. Remove the Old Headlight Bulb
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight bulb by pressing the release tab and pulling it straight out.
  2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the headlight assembly.
  3. Carefully remove the old bulb from the socket.
4. Install the New Headlight Bulb
  1. Take the new headlight bulb out of its packaging, handling it by the base to avoid touching the glass.
  2. Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise to secure it in place.
  3. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the new bulb until it clicks into place.
5. Reassemble and Test
  1. If applicable, reattach the plastic cover or secure the headlight assembly with screws.
  2. Close the hood and turn on the headlights to test the new bulb for proper operation.
