Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Lint-free cloth or paper towel
    • Funnel (if adding fluid)
    • Transmission fluid (if needed)
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is warmed up.
2. Locate the Dipstick
  • Open the hood and secure it.
  • Identify the transmission dipstick, which is usually marked with a bright handle.
  • If applicable, remove any engine covers obstructing access to the dipstick.
3. Check Fluid Level
  • Pull the dipstick out of the tube and wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth.
  • Reinsert the dipstick fully back into the tube.
  • Remove the dipstick again and check the fluid level against the indicators on the dipstick.
    • The fluid should be within the "Full" or "Add" marks.
4. Add Fluid (if necessary)
  • If the fluid level is low, use a funnel to add the recommended Honda ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid).
  • Add fluid slowly and check the level again, ensuring it does not exceed the "Full" mark.
5. Final Checks
  • Reinsert the dipstick and ensure it is properly seated.
  • Close the hood securely.
