Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: fuse puller or needle-nose pliers, multimeter, and owner's manual.
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off, and keys are removed from the ignition.
2. Locate Fuse Boxes
  • Engine Compartment Fuse Box: Open the hood and locate the fuse box near the battery. Remove the cover by unclipping it.
  • Interior Fuse Box: Open the driver's side door and locate the fuse box beneath the dashboard, near the steering column. Remove the cover carefully.
3. Inspect Fuses
  • Use the fuse puller or needle-nose pliers to carefully remove each fuse one at a time from both fuse boxes.
  • Check the fuses visually for a broken wire inside or discoloration. If any are damaged, they need replacement.
4. Test with Multimeter
  • Set the multimeter to the continuity setting.
  • Place the probes on either end of the fuse. If the meter beeps or shows a reading, the fuse is good; if not, it is blown and requires replacement.
5. Replace Blown Fuses
  • Obtain a replacement fuse of the same amperage rating as specified in the owner’s manual.
  • Insert the new fuse securely back into the appropriate slot in the fuse box.
  • Replace the fuse box cover and ensure it is securely latched.
