Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver (optional for damper), clean cloth
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the ignition is off.
2. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  1. With the glove box fully lowered, locate the cabin air filter cover.
  2. Release the clips or tabs holding the cover in place.
  3. Carefully pull the cabin air filter out of its housing, noting the orientation of the filter for proper installation of the new one.
3. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
  1. Take the new cabin air filter and ensure it is oriented correctly (check for airflow direction arrows).
  2. Slide the new cabin air filter into the housing until it is fully seated.
  3. Reattach the cabin air filter cover, ensuring it is secured with clips or tabs.
4. Reassemble the Glove Box
