1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: a flathead screwdriver and a new battery (CR2032).
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a well-ventilated area.
  • Have the second key fob available if applicable.
2. Replace the Key Fob Battery
  1. Use the flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob.
  2. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR2032 battery, ensuring the polarity (+/-) matches correctly.
  3. Snap the key fob back together securely.
