1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Flathead screwdriver
    • Phillips screwdriver (if applicable)
    • Gloves (optional)
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
  • Allow the engine to cool before starting the replacement.
2. Remove the Air Filter Housing Cover
  • Locate the clips or screws securing the air filter housing cover.
  • If using clips, carefully unclip them using your fingers or a flathead screwdriver.
  • If using screws, use the appropriate screwdriver to remove them.
  • Gently lift the housing cover away from the filter to expose the air filter.
3. Extract the Old Air Filter
  • Carefully pull the old air filter out of the housing.
  • Take note of the orientation of the filter for proper installation of the new filter.

  • Take the new air filter and ensure it is positioned in the same orientation as the old one.
  • Slide the new air filter into the housing securely.
5. Reattach the Air Filter Housing Cover
  • Place the housing cover back onto the filter assembly.
  • Re-secure the cover by fastening the clips or screws removed earlier.
  • Ensure that the cover is seated properly to avoid any air leaks.
