Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, safety gloves.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface, and the engine is turned off.
  • Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety (optional).
2. Locate the Cabin Air Filter
  • Open the glove compartment and remove all contents.
  • Locate the damper on the right side of the glove compartment and disconnect it by squeezing the sides and pulling it away.
3. Remove the Glove Compartment
  • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the glove compartment in place.
  • Once the screws are removed, gently pull the glove compartment out to access the filter compartment.
4. Replace the Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the cabin air filter cover, which is usually a rectangular panel.
  • Unclip or unscrew the cover to access the cabin air filter.
