2. Remove the Key Fob Cover

  • Install the new battery, ensuring correct polarity (positive side up).
  • Reassemble the key fob by snapping the cover back into place.

  • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it from "OFF" to "RUN" (do not start) five times within ten seconds.
