Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Air Filter Replacement
  • Remove the air filter housing cover.
  • Take out the old air filter and inspect the housing for debris.
  • Install a new air filter, ensuring it is seated properly.
  • Reattach the air filter housing cover securely.
3. Fuel System Inspection
  • Check the fuel pump operation by turning the ignition to the "ON" position and listening for the pump.
  • If necessary, replace the fuel filter.
  • If the pump is faulty, replace it by:
    1. Relieving fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls.
    2. Disconnecting the battery.
    3. Removing the fuel tank from the vehicle (if applicable).
    4. Replacing the fuel pump with a new unit.
    5. Reinstalling the fuel tank and reconnecting the battery.
4. Spark Plug and Ignition Coil Replacement
  • Remove the ignition coil cover if applicable.
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils.
  • Unscrew and remove the ignition coils and spark plugs.
  • Inspect spark plugs for wear and replace them if necessary.
  • Reinstall new or cleaned ignition coils and reconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Throttle Body Cleaning
  • Locate the throttle body and remove the intake duct if necessary.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body.
  • Ensure the throttle plate opens and closes smoothly without binding.
  • Reattach the duct and any connectors.
6. Transmission Fluid Change
  • Check the transmission fluid level with the dipstick (if applicable).
  • If the fluid is low or contaminated, drain the transmission fluid using a drain pan.
  • Replace with the manufacturer-recommended transmission fluid.
  • Recheck the fluid level after driving a short distance to ensure proper operation.
