Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Small flathead screwdriver, new CR2032 battery
  • Safety Warnings: Ensure hands are clean to avoid introducing dirt into the key fob.
2. Open the Key Fob
  1. Locate the small slot or seam on the side of the key fob.
  2. Insert the small flathead screwdriver into the slot.
  3. Gently twist to pry open the key fob without damaging the casing.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  1. Note the orientation of the battery (positive side facing up).
  2. Carefully lift the old battery out of the key fob using your fingers or screwdriver.
4. Insert the New Battery
  1. Take the new CR2032 battery and align it according to the noted orientation.
  2. Press the new battery firmly into the battery compartment until it is seated securely.
5. Reassemble the Key Fob
