Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool, and a soft cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked with the ignition turned off.
2. Disconnect the Battery
  • Open the hood and remove the negative (-) battery terminal using a wrench.
  • Wait for at least 10 minutes to allow any residual power to dissipate.
  • Reconnect the negative (-) battery terminal securely.
3. Reset the Radio
  • Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
  • Locate the radio power button. Depending on the model, press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds.
  • If the radio has a "Reset" button (often located behind the faceplate), use a small tool to press it. Hold for 5 seconds.
  • If applicable, adjust the radio settings to desired preferences afterward.
4. Reassemble and Test
  • If the radio faceplate was removed, carefully reattach it.
  • Start the vehicle and test the radio for functionality by turning it on and adjusting stations and volume.
