Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Socket set
    • Screwdriver (Phillips)
    • Gloves (to handle the bulb)
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the keys are removed from the ignition.
    • Allow the engine and headlights to cool down before starting the replacement.
2. Access the Headlight Bulb
  • Open the hood and locate the headlight assembly.
  • If necessary, remove any components obstructing access to the headlight bulb such as the battery or air intake duct (use appropriate tools).
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the headlight assembly by pressing the release tab.
3. Remove the Old Bulb
  • Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the headlight assembly.
  • Carefully pull the old bulb straight out of the socket. Avoid touching the glass part of the new bulb with bare hands to prevent oil contamination.
4. Install the New Bulb
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket, ensuring it is seated properly.
  • Rotate the socket clockwise to secure it back into the headlight assembly.
  • Reconnect the wiring harness to the back of the headlight.
5. Reassemble Components
  • If any components were removed (battery or air intake duct), reinstall them in reverse order.
  • Close the hood.
