Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: a clean cloth and possibly a funnel if adding fluid.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface for an accurate reading.
2. Locate the Power Steering Fluid Reservoir
  • Open the hood and secure it.
  • Identify the power steering fluid reservoir, usually located near the engine, often to the left side (driver's side).
3. Inspect the Fluid Level
  • Clean the reservoir cap area with a cloth to avoid debris entering.
  • Remove the cap of the power steering fluid reservoir.
  • Observe the fluid level against the “MIN” and “MAX” markings on the reservoir side.
4. Add Fluid (if necessary)
  • If the fluid level is below the minimum mark:
    • Use the recommended power steering fluid type (check the owner's manual).
    • Using a funnel, add fluid slowly until it reaches the “MAX” mark.
    • Be cautious not to overfill.
5. Replace the Cap
  • Securely put the reservoir cap back on.
  • Ensure it is properly tightened to avoid leaks.
