Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Remove Wheel
  • Use a lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts slightly while the car is on the ground.
  • Raise the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  • Fully remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
3. Inspect and Replace Components
  • Sway Bar Links:

    • If worn, remove the sway bar link using a socket set.
    • Replace with a new sway bar link, tightening to manufacturer specifications.
  • Shock Absorbers/Struts:

    • If damaged, unbolt the top and bottom of the shock absorber/strut assembly.
    • Replace with a new shock absorber/strut and tighten bolts to specifications.
  • Ball Joints:

    • If play is detected, remove the ball joint using a ball joint separator.
    • Install a new ball joint and secure it with the appropriate fasteners.
4. Reassemble
  • Reattach the wheel and hand-tighten the lug nuts.
  • Lower the vehicle off the jack stands and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer’s specification.
5. Final Checks
  • Inspect all replaced components and ensure everything is properly secured.
