1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: small flathead screwdriver, new key fob battery (CR2032), and a clean cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked in a safe location.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Open the Key Fob:

    • Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob along the seam.
    • Take care not to damage the casing or internal components.
  2. Remove Old Battery:

    • Note the orientation of the existing battery.
    • Carefully remove the old battery from its compartment.
  3. Install New Battery:

    • Insert the new CR2032 battery in the same orientation as the old one, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  4. Reassemble the Key Fob:

    • Snap the key fob casing back together securely.
    • Ensure all edges are aligned and sealed.
3. Test Key Fob Functionality
