Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: None specifically required, but a clean cloth may be useful.
  • Park the vehicle in a safe, flat area and ensure the windshield is clean.
  • Turn off the ignition and remove the key to prevent accidental operation of the wipers.
2. Lift the Wiper Arm
  • Gently pull the wiper arm away from the windshield until it is in a vertical position. Be cautious not to let the arm snap back against the windshield to prevent damage.
3. Remove Old Wiper Blade
  • Locate the release tab on the wiper blade where it attaches to the wiper arm.
  • Press the release tab and slide the wiper blade downwards off the arm until it disconnects completely.
4. Install New Wiper Blade
  • Take the new wiper blade and align it with the wiper arm.
  • Slide the new blade onto the arm until it clicks into place, ensuring the release tab locks securely.
5. Lower the Wiper Arm
  • Carefully lower the wiper arm back down to the windshield, ensuring it sits flat against the glass.
6. Repeat for the Other Wiper Blade
  • Follow steps 2-5 for the other wiper blade if needed.
7. Test Wipers
  • Turn on the ignition and activate the wiper function to ensure proper operation and alignment of the new blades.
