Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety.
  • Tools Required:
    • Socket set
    • Multimeter
    • Screwdriver set
2. Inspect and Replace Fog Light Bulbs
  • Remove the fog light housing by unscrewing any retaining screws.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the fog light.
  • Remove the fog light bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
  • Inspect the bulb; if it is burnt out, replace it with a new one.
  • Reinstall the bulb by turning it clockwise and reconnect the wiring harness.
  • Reattach the fog light housing and secure it with screws.
3. Check and Replace the Fog Light Fuse
  • Locate the fuse box and remove the cover.
  • Find the fog light fuse (refer to the diagram on the fuse box cover).
  • Pull the fuse out and inspect it for continuity; if blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
  • Reinstall the fuse and cover the fuse box.
4. Test the Fog Light Switch
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Use a multimeter to test for continuity at the fog light switch.
  • If there is no continuity, replace the fog light switch.
5. Inspect Wiring and Relay
  • Visually inspect the wiring harness for any signs of wear or damage.
  • If the wiring is intact, locate the fog light relay (usually in the fuse box).
  • Swap the fog light relay with a similar functioning relay to test if the relay is faulty.
