Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools:
    • Clean lint-free cloth
    • Funnel (if adding fluid)
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is warm.
2. Check Fluid Level
  • Remove the transmission dipstick from the tube.
  • Wipe the dipstick clean with a lint-free cloth.
  • Reinsert the dipstick fully into its tube.
  • Remove the dipstick again and check the fluid level:
    • It should be between the "Full" and "Low" marks on the dipstick.
3. Add Fluid (if necessary)
  • If the fluid level is low:
    • Use a funnel to add the recommended Honda ATF-Z1 or DW-1 fluid through the dipstick tube.
    • Add fluid in small increments, checking the level frequently until it reaches the correct level.
4. Replace Dipstick
  • After checking or adding fluid, ensure the dipstick is securely reinserted into the tube.
  • Close the hood securely.
