Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: OBD-II scanner, multimeter, basic hand tools (socket set, screwdrivers), brake cleaner.
  • Safety Warnings: Disconnect the battery before working on electrical systems to avoid short circuits.
2. Repair or Replace ABS Sensors
  1. Identify Faulty Sensor: Based on diagnostic results, determine which ABS sensor is malfunctioning.
  2. Remove Wheel: Lift the vehicle and remove the wheel covering the affected ABS sensor.
  3. Disconnect Sensor: Unplug the connector from the faulty ABS sensor.
  4. Remove Sensor: Unscrew and remove the faulty ABS sensor from the wheel hub.
  5. Install New Sensor: Place the new ABS sensor in position, securing it with screws.
  6. Reconnect Electrical Connector: Plug the connector back into the new sensor.
  7. Reinstall Wheel: Replace the wheel and lower the vehicle.
3. Check and Replace Brake Fluid (if necessary)
  1. Inspect Fluid Condition: Check the brake fluid for contamination or discoloration.
  2. Drain Old Fluid: If the fluid is dirty, remove the brake fluid reservoir cap and use a turkey baster to extract old fluid.
  3. Refill with New Fluid: Pour new brake fluid that meets Honda specifications into the reservoir.
  4. Bleed the Brakes: Start from the furthest wheel from the master cylinder and bleed the brakes until clean fluid flows through.
