Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Lint-free cloth
    • Funnel (if adding fluid)
    • Transmission fluid (Honda Genuine ATF or equivalent)
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is at normal operating temperature.
2. Check Fluid Level
  1. Locate the transmission dipstick in the engine bay.
  2. Carefully pull the dipstick out of the tube.
  3. Wipe the dipstick clean with a lint-free cloth to remove any fluid residue.
  4. Insert the dipstick back into the tube fully, then remove it again to check the fluid level.
  5. Observe the fluid level on the dipstick; it should be between the "Full" and "Low" marks.
3. Add Fluid (if necessary)
  1. If the fluid is below the "Low" mark, prepare to add transmission fluid.
  2. Insert a funnel into the dipstick tube.
  3. Slowly pour the recommended transmission fluid into the funnel until the fluid level reaches the "Full" mark on the dipstick.
  4. Remove the funnel and reinsert the dipstick to ensure it is properly seated.
4. Final Check
  1. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
  2. Repeat steps in "Check Fluid Level" to confirm the fluid level is correct after adding.
