Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather the necessary tools: a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
2. Check Oil Level
  1. Locate and Remove Dipstick

    • Find the dipstick handle, typically near the engine, and pull it out gently.
  2. Clean the Dipstick

    • Wipe the entire length of the dipstick with a lint-free cloth to remove any oil residue.
  3. Reinsert and Remove Dipstick

    • Fully reinsert the dipstick back into the tube to ensure an accurate reading.
    • Pull the dipstick out again to check the oil level.
  4. Assess Oil Level

    • Check the oil level against the minimum and maximum indicators on the dipstick.
    • If the oil level is below the minimum mark, additional oil will need to be added.
  5. Add Oil if Necessary (if low)

    • If oil needs to be added, locate the oil filler cap and remove it.
    • Use a funnel to pour the appropriate type of oil (refer to the owner's manual for specifications) into the engine.
    • Check the oil level again after adding to ensure it is within the proper range.
