1. Preparation
  • Gather the necessary tools: a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
2. Check Oil Level

  1. Locate and Remove Dipstick

    • Find the dipstick handle, typically near the engine, and pull it out gently.

  2. Clean the Dipstick

    • Wipe the entire length of the dipstick with a lint-free cloth to remove any oil residue.

  3. Reinsert and Remove Dipstick

    • Fully reinsert the dipstick back into the tube to ensure an accurate reading.
    • Pull the dipstick out again to check the oil level.
