Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: a new battery for the key fob (if needed), and access to the vehicle.
  • Ensure all vehicle doors are closed.
2. Enter Programming Mode
  1. Sit inside the vehicle with all doors closed.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (do not start the engine).
  3. Turn the key back to the "Off" position and remove it from the ignition.
  4. Within 5 seconds, insert the key back into the ignition and turn it to "On" again.
  5. Repeat this process (turning "Off" and "On") a total of 5 times (you'll end in the "On" position on the last turn).
3. Program the Key Fob
  1. Press any button on the key fob to be programmed. The doors should automatically lock and unlock, indicating the vehicle has entered programming mode.
  2. If programming is successful, the lock and unlock confirmation will occur.
