Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • Collect the tire pressure gauge and an air compressor.
2. Check and Adjust Tire Pressure
  1. Remove the valve stem caps from each tire.
  2. Use the tire pressure gauge to measure the pressure in each tire.
    • If the pressure is below the recommended level (found on the driver’s side door jamb), proceed to the next step.
  3. Inflate each tire to the recommended pressure using the air compressor.
  4. Replace the valve stem caps securely.
3. Inspect and Replace TPMS Sensors (if necessary)
  1. If tire pressure is adjusted and the warning light remains, inspect the TPMS sensors.
  2. Remove the tire from the wheel rim using a tire changer (if needed).
  3. Examine the TPMS sensor for any signs of damage or corrosion.
  4. If damaged, replace the TPMS sensor.
    • Remove the old sensor and install the new one according to the manufacturer's specifications.
4. Reset the TPMS
  1. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
  2. Locate the TPMS reset button, usually found beneath the steering wheel or in the glove compartment.
  3. Press and hold the reset button until the TPMS indicator blinks three times.
  4. Start the vehicle and check if the warning light has turned off.
