Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Screwdriver set, multimeter, OBD-II scanner, torque wrench
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked, and the ignition is turned off. Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shock.
2. Check and Replace the Fuse
  • Locate the fuse box (refer to the owner's manual).
  • Remove the power window fuse using a fuse puller or pliers.
  • Inspect the fuse for continuity. If blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
3. Replace the Power Window Switch
  • Remove the door panel using a screwdriver to take out screws and clips.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the power window switch.
  • Install the new switch by connecting the electrical connector and securing it in place.
  • Reassemble the door panel.
4. Repair or Replace the Window Motor/Regulator
  • If the switch is functional, check the window motor.
  • Remove the door panel as described above.
  • Disconnect the window motor's electrical connector.
  • Test the motor with direct power from a 12V source. If it doesn’t work, replace the motor.
  • If the regulator is damaged, remove it by unscrewing the mounting bolts and disconnecting it from the window glass. Replace with a new regulator and reassemble.
5. Reconnect Battery and Test
  • Reconnect the battery terminals.
  • Test the power windows to confirm they function properly.
