Solution
1. Preparation

  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety.

2. Check and Replace Spark Plugs

  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils.

  • Install new spark plugs with the correct gap (0.043 inches for most models).
  • Reinstall the ignition coils and reconnect the electrical connectors.
3. Clean the Throttle Body

  • Spray throttle body cleaner onto a clean rag and wipe the inside of the throttle body.
  • Open the throttle plate manually to clean the back side as well.
