Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: flathead screwdriver, new battery (CR2032), and possibly a key fob battery replacement kit.
  • Ensure you are working in a well-lit area.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Locate the small notch or seam along the edge of the key fob.
  • Carefully insert the flathead screwdriver into the notch and gently pry apart the two halves of the key fob.
  • Take care not to damage the plastic casing.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  • Once the key fob is open, identify the battery's position.
  • Note the orientation of the battery (positive and negative sides).
  • Gently remove the old battery from its compartment, taking care not to damage any surrounding components.
4. Install the New Battery
  • Insert the new CR2032 battery in the same orientation as the old one (positive side facing up).
  • Press down gently to ensure it is seated properly in the compartment.
5. Reassemble the Key Fob
  • Align the two halves of the key fob and press them together until you hear a click, indicating they are securely closed.
  • Ensure there are no gaps between the two halves.
6. Test the Key Fob
  • Press any button on the key fob to check if it functions properly.
  • Test the remote range and ensure all functions operate as expected.
